As hard as he may try, Rhodes knows that it is impossible to have perfect diabetes management all the time. So rather than beat himself up, he gives himself a “night off.” Once a week, Rhodes indulges in his temptations, before getting right back on the bandwagon.
Should diabetics avoid fruit? Alana spoke with a nutritionist and she concluded that diabetics can say yes to fruit, especially lower-carb fruits. Watch for tips on which fruit to reach for.

To pack or not to pack, that is the question. Alana says– PACK YOUR LUNCH!! Every day! And pack something similar every day. If you know how many carbs you are eating and how your body responds to those carbs, you will avoid a miserable, groggy, carb-overloaded afternoon.
