Portion control and food groups

It's that time of year, when we all tend to focus more on what we eat and how much we eat. Here's a tip we got from the Diabetes Treatment Center (at Bon Secours in Richmond) about how to make a healthy, low-carb plate. Two quarter sections for your protein and starch, and half the plate for fruits and veggies. This tool is helpful for eating in moderation and getting important fiber and nutrients!
