Valentine’s Day can be a wonderful time of remembering and thanking those you love, but not everyone has a special valentine. If you are in the camp that is without a valentine this year, or if your significant other isn’t exactly a candy and roses kind of person, how about you treat yourself this Valentine’s Day?
Diabetes is a 24/7, 365 disease that requires a lot of preparation, persistence, and patience. We think it’s important that, every once in a while, you give yourself a break. Schedule a massage. Make a dinner date with a friend, parent or a child you miss. Sign up for that golf lesson you’ve always wanted to take. Treat yourself to a (small) scoop of ice cream at your favorite ice cream shop. Buy yourself a dozen roses and enjoy them on your dining table.
Don’t let all the fuss get you down. Give yourself some love this Valentines Day! You deserve it and we love you all!
