Diabetes Alert Day

March 27, 2018, is the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) National Alert Day. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of the risk factors for Type 2 Diabetes. If you are involved in our support group, you are probably already aware of the risks and consequences of a life with diabetes. However, you probably do know someone who should be more concerned about the risks of this disease.

If so, please share this post or share the link to the ADA Alert Day site with them. Encourage them to take the ADA’s risk test and talk to their doctor if they have any concerns. It is never too late to take action to slow or halt the progression of Type 2 Diabetes!
